Ingredients for 4 servings
- 320g of Tagliolini all'uovo Agnesi
- for boiling water salt
- 250g minced beef
- 250g minced pork
- 50g grated Parmesan
- 50g breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- ½ tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- 1 jar Agnesi Basil Sauce
- for garnish fresh basil leaves
- optional extra grated Parmesan
- to taste salt and black pepper
- Prepare the meatballs
In a large bowl, mix the minced beef and pork with Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Roll into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut. - Cook the meatballs
Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. - Cook the pasta
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the Pasta Agnesi Tagliolini according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining. - Combine everything
Return the meatballs to the pan and pour in the Agnesi Basil Sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently. Add the drained Pasta Agnesi Tagliolini to the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water for the perfect consistency. - Serve and enjoy
Divide into plates and garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
